PRIVACY POLICY

Enchanted Reads (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Reverie — Ritual Planner application for web, iOS, and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Reverie.

Account Information. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your user identifier and, optionally, your name and email address. We do not receive or store your Apple/Google password. Reverie offers no email/password sign-in.

Planner Data. We store the content you write — weekly, monthly, and yearly spreads, tasks, goals, moods, habits, notes, wishlist and “don't forget” items, affirmations, and dream boards — on our servers so you can access it across your devices. Our backend is the source of truth; your device also keeps a local cache so the current week works offline and syncs when you reconnect.

Dream Board Images. If you add images to a dream board, we store those image files in private object storage (DigitalOcean Spaces). They are not publicly listed and are served only to you.

Subscription Status. If you subscribe to Reverie Premium, we store your subscription status and entitlement (active, expired, plan) as reported by our billing provider. We do not store your full card number or bank details — payment is handled by the app store or payment processor.

Device Information. We store your registered devices and basic device information (device model, OS version, app version) for sync, analytics, and to improve the experience.

Push Notification Tokens. If you enable the gentle Sunday reminder, we store your push token to send it.

• To generate your weekly affirmation via AI (see below)
• To send the optional weekly reminder (if enabled)
• To manage subscriptions and entitlements
• To improve the app through privacy-friendly, anonymized analytics

Weekly affirmations are generated on our backend through a pluggable AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic Claude). We send only your language, the current season/theme, an optional tone preference, and the titles of your weekly goals — never your notes, wishlist, mood, or dream-board content. If generation fails, we fall back to a curated set of affirmations.

We do not sell your personal information, and Reverie shows no ads and uses no third-party advertising or ad-tracking. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work:

• OpenAI / Anthropic — for affirmation generation (goal titles only; never your notes, wishlist, mood, or dream-board content)
• RevenueCat — for subscription management, which processes purchases through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe (for web billing)
• PostHog — for privacy-friendly, basic product analytics
• DigitalOcean Spaces — private object storage for your dream-board images
• Apple / Google — for authentication and push notifications

Your data is stored on our servers, with dream-board images held in private object storage (DigitalOcean Spaces). Your device keeps a local cache of your current planner so it works offline; the backend remains the source of truth and resolves changes when you sync. Sign-in uses Apple and Google only, and we never receive your Apple or Google password.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Because our providers operate globally, your data may be processed in countries other than your own.

We retain your planner data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen.

You may:

• Access your data through the app
• Delete your account and all data from Settings
• Opt out of the weekly reminder at any time
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us at [email protected]

Reverie is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.

Reverie is offered in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. This Privacy Policy is currently published in English only; localized versions may follow. If there is any conflict between a translation and the English version, the English version governs.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the effective date above.
