These Terms of Use govern your use of Lore — The Bookshop Oracle (“the App”), operated by Enchanted Reads (“we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Lore is a daily interactive book recommendation game. Each day, a fictional visitor arrives at your virtual bookshop. You choose a book for them, and an AI-generated oracle sentence reveals how the book connects to the visitor's story. The app is designed for entertainment and book discovery purposes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

You may use the App without an account for basic features. Sign in with Apple or Google is required to access your reading history across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Lore offers an optional “Oracle Premium” subscription with the following terms:

• Monthly plan: $2.99/month, billed monthly
• Yearly plan: $19.99/year, billed annually
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No refunds for unused portions of a subscription period

Oracle sentences are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). This content is for entertainment purposes only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind. Generated content may vary and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or systems
• Use automated means to access or interact with the App

The App, including its design, text, graphics, animations, and AI-generated content, is owned by Enchanted Reads and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Book titles and author names referenced in the App belong to their respective rights holders.

You may share prophecy cards generated by the App on social media and other platforms for personal, non-commercial use. Share cards include the Enchanted Reads watermark and may not be altered or used for commercial purposes.

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be free of errors. AI-generated oracle content is for entertainment only.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enchanted Reads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App. Account deletion permanently removes all your data, including history, streaks, and achievements. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
